College of Sindh is second most seasoned University of Pakistan however Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering set up in 2002 for instructing and exploration reason in the field of Biotechnology for M.Sc., M.Phil and Ph.D and BS Genetics. 


foundation has 10 employees and three visiting Professors. 


At present 20 understudies are selected M.Sc. Biotechnology while 180 understudies are tried out BS Genetics.Along with this 4 M.Phil and 4 Ph.D understudies (Biotechnology) are chipping away at various examination issues in the field of aging, plant Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology. Sofar Institute have coordinated five International Symposiums on Biotechnology and Three National Training Workshops on Biotechnological procedures.
